With extensive experience in recruitment and HR across both the private and public sectors, strong knowledge of the job market, and skills as professional application writers, we can ensure that your resume makes employers sit up and take notice.

1. Foundation feedback package

Resume and/or cover letter review with fundamental feedback and advice on content, format, and structure – via phone or email. You will be asked to provide any information on jobs you wish to apply for. This level of service is ideal for those who feel confident in their writing ability and who have a pre-existing resume to work with.

Requires 1 hour – $190.

2. In-depth feedback package

Resume and cover letter review with in-depth feedback and advice on tailoring content, format, and structure, including 2nd draft follow up review – via phone and/or face to face. You will be required to send any information on jobs you wish to apply for.

Requires 2-3 hours – $190 / hour. (Minimum fee $380)

3. In-depth feedback & professional writing

Resume and cover letter review, in depth feedback and professional rewriting service – face to face. This is the same as Option 2 above with the addition of a full and customised rewrite in direct collaboration with you. We will work closely with you to highlight your key skills, experiences, qualifications and achievements, all of which will give you the winning edge and guarantee more job interviews. The final product is a tailored ‘Master’ resume and cover letter which can be easily adjusted for each preferred job application.

Requires between 2-4 hours at $190/hour. (Minimum fee – $380)

4. Selection Criteria writing

With our direct experience working in this domain, we know what it takes to construct a strong and successful application for government/public service roles. Let us analyse your strengths, skills and knowledge and experiences in collaboration with you, to create a selection criteria document that cannot be ignored and will move you to the top of the pile.

Requires between 1-4 hours at $190/hour. (Mininum fee -$380)

The Parents Village interview skills training service will arm you with the right skills and techniques to build your confidence and your competence in job interviews. We will help you prepare, practice and perform, applying behaviourally-based interviewing techniques, so that you can ensure you are successful when in front of a prospective employer.

During the session, you will:

Understand how to prepare in advance
Learn how to make a great first impression and build rapport
Learn strategies to better manage nerves and build confidence
Learn how to best answer typical behavioural questions
Discover how to ask the right questions of your interviewer
Develop skills to better negotiate salary and flexible working arrangements

Have an opportunity to practice your interview skills and gain immediate feedback
